Currently in production, the Anniversary Re-make of the classic first game of the Tomb Raider franchise has been passed to Crystal Dynamics for another round of Tomb Raiding. Instead of having their heads busey hacking away at another adventure to sequal to Tomb Raider Legend, they are currently developing TR:AE for the Playstation 2, PC, and PSP formats.
This game is reliving the classic feel of Tomb Raiding, showing the world just how far Lara Croft's roots reach in the world of videogaming.
Not many details are known about this game and just recently a trailer was leaked with evidence of Core, the previous designers of Tomb Raider, had indeed been working on this 'Anniversary Project' for quite some time, but sadly was fired from Eidos a short while ago but recently picked up to Rebellion Studios.
Quite possibly, this game is the most anticipated game in the Tomb Raider franchise. Much information coming soon.
